Hank and Ma Redcliffe live on a ranch  in the wild west of America.

 They need a new barn, so Ma takes out a loan to buy extra cattle hoping that Hank can make a big profit to pay for it.

However their plans go seriously wrong when all the cattle are stolen by the notorious Stanton brothers!

Poor Ma ends up in jail, unable to pay the loan.

Then Hank hears of a gold rush in California and sets off on the next stagecoach to restore their fortunes!
